Message to Preschool Teachers
Truly appreciate the smooth arrangement by Sensei Hitomi and Miki. You really took good care of ours kids and they both said they enjoyed the time at school in Japan. Though, the sudden cancellation on the last day was really a pity and caught us by surprise!(Because there’s even no rain on that day) Communications and photos sent through Line app was instant and effective! Warm and kind staff.
Message to Local People
The accommodation is spacious and fully equipped. But it’s better if the fridge was bigger.(too small for a family staying for a week or more.)
Using PIN code to unlock is convenient. The bike and parking space are also convenient.

During this 2 weeks, We are deeply grateful for the teachers' assistance, which allowed Lala to quickly integrate into school life and happily participate in school activities. The local residents were also very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful two weeks, and Masushima Preschool is a highly recommended choice.

Access
From Chubu Centrair International Airport, take a train to Nagoya Station (about 30–50 minutes). Then transfer to a train bound for Hida Furukawa (about 2 hours 30 minutes). The total travel time is approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.
From Haneda Airport, take a train to Tokyo Station (about 40–60 minutes). Then travel via Nagoya to Hida Furukawa (about 4 hours). The total travel time is approximately 5 hours.
From Narita Airport, take a train to Tokyo or Shinagawa Station (about 1–1.5 hours). Then travel via Nagoya to Hida Furukawa (about 4 hours). The total travel time is approximately 5.5–6 hours.
Features of the Preschool
Located in northern Gifu, Hida Furukawa is a beautiful town of white-walled storehouses, wooden houses, and calm canals with koi fish. Its friendly people and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place for families to enjoy traditional Japanese life.

At Masushima Preschool, children learn through play and creativity. The “Creation Corner” inspires imagination, and teachers encourage independence and confidence in a warm, supportive environment.
